History is what's happening • 1991 • a site specific installation on the Dutch colonial history of 25 wooden clogs with portraits as sails. These portraits show various faces of people that may have had a role in this past, at the back of a sail on a wooden clog. A traditional toy children used to play with, tells about the black pages in history.
